parenting is not just about guiding our children through their early years.
it is also an opportunity to look within, to heal and to transform ourselves.
what does it mean to parent consciously?
Conscious parenting is about practising awareness or mindfulness in the relationships with our children so that we can attune to our children and their needs as well as our own.
Parenting consciously is to put the focus onto oneself and the parent / child relationship rather than on the child and their behaviour.
It is about learning to understand and accept our children as they are rather than what we expect or want them to be.
It is about building a loving and connected relationship with our children without the need to control, manipulate or punish.
Above all it is about creating an environment where both parent and child will grow to feel empowered, respected, valued, worthy and self aware.
